What happens after you kill Lucifer-Gom? Hopefully an express elevator ride to the Chamber of Stars.wheeee!Ĭan one character take down Gom? What would be a reasonable level to try? No graphic of the King? Is that a bug or does he have some uber Fade to Shadow spell?
After almost a dozen deaths, I manage to take the boss man down and I'm thinking, "What a pansy." So down I go and come face to face with the Gomster. As the braziers begin to light up I figure, "I bet I'm going for a little ride here.wheeee!" So the Seck waste me at the rock bridge, I respawn and end up at a dead end where there are a bunch of unlit braziers.
Being a scardy-noob, I am set to drop nothing on death and figured the worst that could happen would be to respawn as a ghost and beetle on outta there. Not wanting to make another run to the vendor I figured what the heck, I'll keep going and see how lucky I get. I ended up doing 3 potion runs back to the vendor before I ended up in a place where there was a named Drake, a big mess o' Seck and I was potionless. "Gimme the Key first dude, I'm gonna need some uber gear to fight these guys." But no, I have to descend into the bowels of Hell alone with an inventory full of health potions to take on Gom before I get to that chamber, right? So in the dialogue The King tells me that he has a key to the chamber and that he is just gonna sit there and wait for me to "vanquish the Seck".riiiight. I was worried that I might have to fight the King's Army after finding the chamber and pillaging the Kingdom's treasures. There was no graphic of the King, I just got the text and voice and was relieved that he gave me permission to not only enter the Star Chamber but to also help myself to whatever was in there. I met up with the King near something called the Star Portal or whatever.
I logged into the castle dungeon and started to make my way through. So last night I made a valiant attempt to storm Castle Ehb. I am trying to keep all skills within a close range to each other with melee being the highest at 60. I play solo on the net and the character I have is at level 63. I have been playing DS for about a month now, just basically messing around the world, gaining xps and looking for loot.
